Anyone who has ever served in the U.S. military is invited to join us for good conversation and fun. This is not a therapy session, though you'll probably feel good when you leave. Bring something from your military service that makes you proud and tell us about it. Coffee and snacks will be provided. There is no charge to attend.
As the sun begins to shine brighter and the temperatures rise, we are thrilled to announce the launch of RMU's high school summer externships for the upcoming season!
At Robert Morris University, we believe in creating unforgettable academic experiences that nurture creativity, build confidence, and foster lifelong friendships. Our diverse range of high school externships cater to every interest, ensuring that there's something for everyone.

EVENT DETAILS
Check-in starts at 8:00 am. The ride gets underway at approximately 9:15 am after a brief opening ceremony. Starting from the North Shore the ride will head across the river and have a police escort through the city. After crossing the Hot Metal bridge, we resume riding on the trail until we reach Homestead. Here we take a break before turning back around and heading back to the North Shore. At the end of the ride there will be a drawing where one lucky rider will receive a $500 gift card to a local bicycle shop!
The Malone Family Foundation, founded by former Pittsburgh Penguin Ryan Malone, will host the 2nd Annual Black & Gold Breaking the Mold as part of Military Mental Health Awareness Month. This event will feature the Hero & Celebrity Hockey Game on Thursday, May 16th with complimentary tickets for Military Veterans and their families. Details regarding the event can be found below:
9:00 AM
Our bicycle rides are a great way to explore Western Pennsylvania and beyond. The rides are hosted by Leo McCarthy, Army veteran and retired Moon Township police chief. Leo works hard to plan our rides, peppering them with an ounce of fun and a dash of history.
The rides are social in nature and limited to a small group of 15 riders. We take our time and enjoy the camaraderie. These rides are for veterans and currently serving military and a buddy over 18 years of age.
