Robert Morris was always Tylyn Bramble’s number one choice for college. With both of her parents being small business owners, she knew she wanted to follow their path and join the business world.

“I grew up in the Pittsburgh area and heard about RMU’s strong, highly reputable business school,” says Tylyn. “As I started looking at RMU I saw how many alumni they had at the nation’s top accounting firms, so I knew that there was no better choice for me than RMU.”

So after being accepted, she did what every college bound student does – adds up the cost. The price to attend RMU was almost out of her reach, until she heard about the many scholarships that were available. She earned two scholarships before starting school, and two others during her undergraduate years. 

In her junior year Tylyn secured two prestigious accounting internships, one with PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) and another with Bayer. 

“Going into both of my internships I already knew people I would be working with just from being introduced to them by my professors," says Tylyn. "I already had a network as I started my career, which makes such a difference and gave me a lot more confidence.”

Tylyn will graduate in December 2019 with a bachelor’s in accounting and master’s in data analytics, and has already accepted a full-time position at PwC.

“I really enjoy being able to bring technology into the accounting field and utilize the programs I’m learning about in my master’s degree. I’m excited to bring new ideas and contribute to the teams that I’ll be on at my new job.”
