  • Robert Morris University has been awarded Gold status as a Military Friendly® School by VIQTORY, a service-disabled veteran-owned small business and the premier military marketing company in the country. Only 162 of more than 1,200 universities and professional schools participating in VIQTORY’s 2021-2022 survey have been selected for Gold award status. The designation of Gold status is a promotion from RMU’s last ranking as a Bronze Military Friendly® School. Read more about this honor here.

  • The M.S. in Counseling Psychology program has received accreditation from the Masters in Psychology and Counseling Accreditation Council through 2029. The graduate program was launched in 2016 and is now one of only two in the Pittsburgh area accredited by MPCAC.

Personal Mention

  • Christine Holtz, professor of media arts, presented a paper “Fifty Greenspace Dumpsites” at the Seventeenth International Conference on Environmental, Cultural, Economic & Social Sustainability hosted by Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam on February 24.
