Net Health is a provider of electronic health record software solutions and actionable analytics for specialized care settings including rehab therapy, wound care, home health and hospice, and employee health. Net Health Chief Revenue Officer Aaron Brandwein said the university’s culture makes RMU students a good fit for Net Health.

“I believe in the mission of the university, Brandwein said. “The Center for Sales Excellence and the marketing program leaves students well prepared for whatever career they choose. We get to mentor these students. They get to work in real-world jobs. When I was in school, that is something I would have loved to have done.”

The RMU Center for Sales Excellence augments the university’s premier sales education programs, provides a linkage between the sales profession and academia, and acts as a resource to companies and sales professionals. The sales center offers a 15-credit sales certificate that can be earned independently or as part of an RMU bachelor’s degree.

Net Health is in its second year of supporting the sales center and has now increased its sponsorship to include four scholarships of $5,000 each for RMU students. Net Health also provides four paid internships each academic year, two per semester, for RMU students.

“With industry partners like Net Health, students in our sales certificate program get the opportunity to network and be prepared to hit the ground running in sales, business development, and account management positions upon graduation. Students will have job offers in hand,” said Jill Kurp, university professor of marketing and director of the RMU Center for Sales Excellence.

As part of its partnership with sales center, Net Health is hosting a panel discussion, “Think Differently, Win Differently: A Panel on Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion in the Sales Industry” at 5 p.m. tonight in Massey Theater on RMU’s Moon Township campus. The event is part of Celebration of Sales Week at RMU, which culminates Saturday, March 26, with the third annual sales challenge.
