The M.S. in Healthcare Analytics is a technical learning program that combines an emphasis on information systems, databases, advanced reporting, and project management with health services administration and leadership. The degree is offered in cooperation with the School of Nursing and Health Sciences.

Graduates of this degree are equipped with essential skills in database structures, reporting applications, and several facets of healthcare administration, equipping them for careers as data and business analysts, administrators, managers, and executives in health-related fields.

Program Learning Outcomes

Through your course work, you will learn how to:

  • Develop, manage, and maintain healthcare systems that allow for strategic use of
    information in organizational settings.
  • Effectively leverage technology tools to generate best options for decision making for
    healthcare services in an organization.
  • Develop a broad and deep understanding of the various methods, software tools, and
    topical expertise needed to discover meaningful patterns in health-related data – and
    effectively communicate the implications for patient outcomes.
  • Become leaders in the changing domain of healthcare analytics with a focus on
    healthcare data to improve patient care.
