Meet Colby Sherwin ‘24

Meet Colby Sherwin ‘24

Colby graduated this May with a Bachelor of Arts in News and Sports Communications. He is now working full time as a Morning Show Producer at WTAG-TV.

During his time at RMU, Colby was involved in RMU Sentry Media where he served as Editor in Chief. He also was involved in RMU TV, RMU Radio and interned for the Pittsburgh Penquins!

Meet Meghan McGinnis '24

Meghan graduated Magna Cum Laude with her Bachelor of Arts in Public Relations and Advertising. During her time at RMU, she served as a Colonial Ambassador, and was additionally a member of the Sport Management Association, Active Minds, and Women in Sports and Events. 

In addition to her student activities, she also worked as a Communications Intern for ATI. Upon graduation, she accepted a position as a Freelance Communications Professional with Oyster Creative Co.

Game Design

Our twelve-credit certificate program in game design aims to equip students with the essential skills and knowledge required to create games, gamify experiences, facilitate play, analyze playability, and effectiveness in communicating through play.

Writing for the Workplace

RMU’s Writing for the Workplace Certificate offers all students the opportunity to improve their writing and to demonstrate this expertise as a credential that will appear on their transcripts. This certificate is NOT designed for those who wish to focus on a career as a writer, but rather for those who wish to improve their writing in support of their career and promotion. Research has shown that across all industries, employers are more likely to hire and/or promote candidates with strong skills in written communication.
