Steps to Confirm Course Rosters

1. Log into Sentry Secured Services and click the link for "Banner Self-Service Login". You will be required to use RMU Single-Sign on.

2. After arriving at the "RMU Advising and Faculty Services" page, click on the "Faculty Grade Entry" link.

3. A list of your courses appears starting with the Fall 221 term. Future courses will appear in the term and as assigned. See the image below, please note that the Final Grades tab is selected by default. Click to select the "Midterm Grades" tab (highlighted in the blue box below).

If you teach multiple courses, it may be easier to sort them using the up/down arrows in any one of the sortable fields (fig. A below). Or, use the search window (fig. B below), which will return results that match terms from any of the sortable fields. Simply searching for "Fall 2021" would narrow the list to courses assigned to you only in the Fall 2021 term.

Click on the subject name, course code or section letter to select the course and student names will appears below in alphabetical order. Enter the most recent date the student attended your class (or participated online) in the "Last Attended Date" field (fig. B below). If the student never attended or participated, enter the first day your course met/opened AND enter 0 (zero) in the "Hours Attended" field (fig. C below). DO NOT enter a midterm grade for the student at this time. Ensure that every student has a date entered and click on "Save" near the bottom when you are finished.

Please note that the Last Attended Date entered must be within the current term and cannot exceed the current date. If you enter an invalid date, you will get a warning error in the top right of the screen. You must acknowledge this error to continue and correct the date(s).

Once you have saved, you will see an "In-Progress" badge in the grading status field for the course. This is normal and the dates you entered will still be captured by the Office of the Registrar. Only when you return at a later date and complete your midterm grade reporting will you see the green "Completed" badge in the grading status field for midterm grades.

Students attending your course but not on your course roster:

Please email the name(s) of the student(s) to the Registrar and refer all students who are attending your course but not on your official roster to office Patrick Henry 200.
