Forgotten/Expired Passwords

If you have forgotten your password or if it has expired, you can reset it by visiting

In order to reset your password, you will need to provide your RMU ID card number, last four digits of your social security number, along with your date of birth (to validate your identity).

Resetting Your Password

It's always recommended that you do not use the same password for multiple software/email IDs. To reset your password, you will first log into Sentry Secured Services.

Once you're logged in, you can reset your password using the following sequence:

  1. Select the "Passwords" option in the top navigation bar, by moving the mouse over your name.

  2. Enter your current password, new password, and verification of your new password in the appropriate input boxes. Ensure that your new password meets the requirements in the "Password Requirements" box on the right.

  3. Click the check box to indicate your compliance with the Information Technology Acceptable Use Policy.

  4. Press the submit button and allow a few minutes for the reset to fully process.

Password Requirements

RMU passwords must be between 8 and 14 characters and contain at least one letter, number, and special character.

Passwords must be changed every 365 days. You will receive an email notification before you password expires so that you have an opportunity to create a new one.

Characters are limited to: a-z, A-Z, 0-9 and ( ) ~ ! # @ ^ *- + = { } [ ] . ? /
